Daily inbox digest
Every morning, summarize what landed in your inbox and flag what needs a reply.

What it does
Each morning at 8:00 the workflow reads the email that arrived in the last 24 hours, sorts it into needs a reply, FYI, and noise, and drafts a one-line suggested reply for anything in the first group.
It then opens a chat thread with the digest so you can reply, delegate, or ask follow-up questions in place.
What you need
- A connected Gmail account.
Customize it
- Change the schedule on the trigger step.
- Edit the agent instructions to match how you triage (for example, treat anything from your manager as urgent).
What it does, step by step
Step 1Trigger
Runs every day at 8:00 AM (America/New_York)Runs every day at 8:00.
Step 2Agent
Search my email for everything received in the last 24 hours. Group the messages into three lists: (1) needs a reply from me, (2) FYI, (3) noise such as newsletters and automated notifications. For each message in the first list write a one-line suggested reply. Return the three lists in that order, most important first, with sender, subject, and a one-sentence gist per message.
UsesStep 3Send a Message
Open a thread titled "Inbox digest for today". Post the digest from the previous step as a concise message: a short headline with the count of messages needing a reply, then the three lists. Offer to draft or send any of the suggested replies.
What it connects to
What the agent reads and writes through each integration, and what stays with you.
What the agent can do with Gmail
- Reads
- Your inbox and threads: senders, subjects, bodies, labels and attachments.
- Writes
- Drafts, labels and replies, only when a step says to.
- Yours
- Nothing is sent unless the workflow explicitly sends it; drafts stay drafts until you send them.
