Monthly spreadsheet analysis
On the 3rd of each month, re-run your analysis on the latest file and report what moved.

What it does
On the 3rd of every month at 9:00 the workflow finds the newest spreadsheet in the Finance folder of your drive, compares this month with last month by the dimensions you specify, shows the calculation, and opens a chat thread with a three-line summary of anything that moved more than a threshold.
What you need
- A CSV or spreadsheet export in a Finance folder in the Damon drive (no integration needed).
Customize it
- Change the folder, the questions and the threshold in the agent step.
- Save your metric definitions as a skill so every answer uses the same ones.
- Ask the agent to add its chart to a dashboard.
What It Does, Step by Step
Step 1Trigger
Runs on day 3 of every month at 9:00 AM (America/New_York)Runs on the 3rd of every month at 9:00.
Step 2Agent
Find the newest CSV or spreadsheet file in the Finance folder of the drive. Compare the most recent month with the previous month by product line and by cost category. Report revenue, cost and gross margin for both months, the change in each, and which lines explain most of the change. Show the intermediate table you computed from. Flag any margin that moved more than 2 percentage points. If a saved chart of margin by month exists on the Finance dashboard, update it; otherwise create one.
Step 3Send a Message
Open a thread titled "Monthly analysis" with the month. Post a three-line summary: the headline margin change, the biggest driver, and anything flagged. Then the table from the previous step. Offer to dig into any line.
